I just can't seem to help myself. I am still working on one design but wanted to start another. This time I wanted to try something different. My goal with this is to have it water jet or laser cut from steel and then I would finish the pry myself. This should allow me to make a super affordable pry bar that still is of high quality.
Like most of my designs, I am leaning towards a boxy style with a bunch of functions. I have added a nail puller to the end of the pry (a much-requested feature on the Traveler). Thanks to some input I have a curved edge on one of the sides of the pry which will allow for a variable flathead screwdriver. The other side is going to be sharper to be a nice box or package opener. On the top side of the pry, there will be an opening for a lanyard and a built-in clip. My hope is the built-in clip can also function as a bottle opener (because why not?) but I need to test it in steel first.
I am honestly in love with this design so far and can't wait to try it out. Like always let me know what you think as there is always room for improvement.
