It has been over a year to get through the design, testing, and manufacturing of our friction folder, the Director. We have just shipped all of our preorders and even did it a month early! We are so excited about this build and so happy to have them out in the world.
This project has been a culmination of small USA businesses. Pivots were from a shop in Montana, other hardware from Ohio, machining was done in South Carolina, heat treat in Pennsylvania, sharpening at a local shop in Wisconsin, and of course, design/testing/finishing done by us in Wisconsin. Proud doesn't even start to explain how we feel about making this great knife but doing so all in the USA.
We now have Directors in stock on our website (and they can be anodized now too)!
